Effective Date: January 3,
2020
The
California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) is a privacy law that grants California
residents new rights with respect to their personal information. This law took
effect as of January 1, 2020.
Curb
Mobility, LLC and its subsidiaries (“CML”) has a long-standing policy
that we do not sell your data — we are not data brokers and we don’t put your
data on the open market. However, under the CCPA, some sharing of personal
information necessary to provide you with personalized ads and/or promotions
from third parties may be considered a “sale,” even if no money is exchanged.
We aren’t changing how we share or use your data, but we want to make sure you
have choices under the new definition of “sale.”
You may opt
of having your personal information shared for the purposes of providing you
with personalized ads and/or third party promotions by sending an email with
the subject “Advertising Opt Out” to support@gocurb.com, which email
must be from the email address associated with your account. As a result, you
may no longer receive personalized advertisements or promotions from CML or via
CML’s apps or websites.
You can read
more about how we use personal information in our Privacy Notice.
